Not much to say about this run. Between trying to get out the door for the holidays and just being a little tightly wound, this was more of a stress relief run and something to keep the streak alive. Legs just wouldn’t move for me the way I wanted. It happens.
Recipe for today’s run in MN:
1) Cream together a shit ton of butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
2) Spread all over New Brighton roads and sidewalks in varying amounts.
3) Attempt to run through.
4) Curse. Repeat.
Even though this was a pretty slow, brutal run, it was good to get out for five miles; it had been awhile since I’d done that in this runstreak. Again: reminding myself that winter running is maintaining fitness. I don’t need to PR every time I put on my shoes.
