This is the longest I’ve ever run

Since the baby being born, that is.
I’m not gonna lie; it was tough for the last half. I didn’t have all of the miles marked, but I am pretty sure I ran the first in 10:40 and the second in 11:00. After that, I know I slowed down. I never stopped to walk, but there are portions of this route that are on a very rocky backcountry road. I hate running on it; I feel like it takes so much more effort, mentally and physically.
I did see two deer and a bunny, which was nice. The world isn’t quite awake at 7:30am on a Saturday.
I’m going to try to build on this every weekend until the marathon (if I run). I am sure there is a formula you should use for adding mileage. I planned on adding about 15-20 min each week. I want to work up to a 3-4 hour run before race. If I can’t do that, I might not run. We’ll see.
great job!!
