Everything within me wants to brush off Jeff Galloway’s run/walk method as wimpy and “not running,” but right now it’s the only way I can get through any type of mileage. I did a run 5/walk 2 for most of this run and ran a little more at the end. I ended up beating my last run of this length by about 45 seconds. I may stick with this method until I’m back in reasonable shape.
