I’m waxed.

Not sure if I ran the long run too fast after having three days off did it. It could not possibly be the bike ride I took with Scott yesterday. We rode for about 40 min, never exceeding 10mph. We’ve been trying to take Sophie out in the Burley a little at a time. She seems to love it.


I woke up this morning with seriously pained quads and feeling completely wiped. A run later in the day. Maybe.

In the meantime, I’ve been trying to make my way through the rest of my quinoa bean burger mixture. This was my mid-afternoon snack yesterday:


I sautéed the crumbles in some olive oil and slapped them in the middle of a Smart & Delicious whole wheat tortilla with a little jack cheddar. Smashed avocado, sour cream and salsa. I needed that.

Today’s lunch was all about my favorite salad.


It’s hard to see here, but this is the Santa Fe salad with chili lime dressing from the Weight Watcher’s web site. So simple, yet so good.
