The toughest day of the week

Mondays suck.

I considered leaving the watch at home, since this is a recovery run. But I obsess over numbers, so I had to strap on the HR strap. Compromise: I picked HR only mode so that I couldn’t see overall time.

My legs felt awful. No music, so I just kept saying “left, right, left, right” in an attempt to remind my legs to keep going. I figured I’d run 11:00+ miles for sure, so the overall time was nice to see, even if it wasn’t super speedy.

I’m trying a new chicken recipe: Mambo Chicken with Mango Salsa. It’s marinating right now. I’ll have an update later. Mango + anything (in my book) = WIN.
